About us

The history of the Pato family has been linked for several generations to wines from the Bairrada region. We invite you to get to know our work and to share our love for this land. Our winery is located in Amoreira da Gândara and is surrounded by several vineyard plots on sandy or clay-limestone soils. We only work with indigenous grape varieties, with emphasis on the Baga red grape, and essentially produce single-vine wines.

What we do

Transmitting the essence of the bairradino terroir is what we like to do! In our farm we combined the structure of the 19th century with structures of modernist design to reflect the soul of wine creator Luis Pato: a rebellious experimentalist from Bairrada! We invite you to visit our cellar to learn about Luís Pato’s history and taste our wines.

Parking conditions

We have 2 parking spaces surrounded by vineyards and close to the village fountain.

Open from Monday to Friday from 9a.m. to 6p.m. Closed on public holidays.
