Since 1937, the company Caves do Solar de São Domingos has been producing sparkling wines, old brandies, bagaceira brandies and Bairrada wines. The constant innovation of the means of production and vinification has allowed the company to raise the quality and prestige of the house wines, reinforcing the business competitiveness of the São Domingos brand.
Initially geared towards the production of sparkling wines, its galleries house more than two million bottles of sparkling wine allowing for an average ageing period of 2 to 5 years in cellars, with which it has obtained high national and international recognition. Over time, the range of products has been extended, adding the hundreds of quarter barrel in French oak for their famous brandies, the Aguardente Bagaceira “São Domingos”, produced in their own stills, continues to lead the market with the quality as always, and the large thousands of bottled wines from our Bairrada, always maintaining a constant concern with quality.
