Herdade Paço do Conde has the pleasure of inviting you to visit their property and stay overnight in your motorhome at their facilities. After purchasing your product pack, you are welcome at the estate store to check-in, and be filled in on the rules you should respect throughout your stay.
The history of our estate dates back to the end of the 14th century. Most of the “Herdade Paço do Conde” is located between the remains of an ancient Roman castle near the Guadiana and the ancient Roman city of the “Vilares”. For more than three centuries, the “Herdade Paço do Conde” has been in the possession of the Castelo Branco family.
In the 4,000 hectares of the estate, besides the production of wine grapes, diversified crops are produced such as olive groves, vines, wheat, barley, corn, onions, garlic, poppy, sown and natural pastures for cattle and black mountain pig. To visit our estate is to understand the harmony achieved between tradition and modernity in the production of olive oils and wines. From the outside to the inside, you can observe the immensity of the Alentejo with its olive groves and vineyards, passing through the barrel rooms where high quality wines were aged.
