Lavoura da Bouça has the pleasure of inviting you to visit their property and stay overnight in your motorhome at their facilities. After purchasing your product pack, you are welcome at the Mother House to check-in, and be filled in on the rules you should respect throughout your visit.
We are a local, home based family, with passion for nature, organic farming, traditional land pleasures and ancient knowledge. The “Lavoura da Bouça – Fruta Bio” TM is a unique experience, with trees, geese, sheep, chickens, we have a main land with 4 hectares for agriculture in certified organic production mode, having as main product organic apples and by-products, being best known for our tasty Apple Juice 100% Organic. We have a varied and valuable collection of old varieties of fruit trees, apple and pear trees etc., an endangered sheep breed – the Churra do Minho, Portuguese chicken breeds, free roaming grey geese and trout in the ponds and lake, which are the joy of the children.
The “Lavoura da Bouça – Fruta Bio” besides its green spaces and organic farming, is a local accommodation and has preserved natural spaces with river, weir (açudes) for bathing, resulting in the Water Route with “pastéis de bacalhau” (a circular route). You can also visit the House-Museum “Casa Senhorial de Requeixo”. The passion for Windmills and Watermills has resulted in the rehabilitation of the Rodizio Mill, and the Watermill in Barrega. Sometimes we cook with solar cookers and whenever possible we take advantage of rainwater for irrigation.
We have 2 parking spaces or near the apple trees or near the sweet lupine plantation.
Open everyday from 10:00 to 19:00. Due to the farm’s normal activity, prior booking at least 48 hours in advance is required via email: info@portugaleasycamp.com.
