Monte da Penha has the pleasure of inviting you to visit their property and stay overnight in your motorhome at their facilities. After purchasing your product pack, you are welcome at the farm store to check-in, and be filled in on the rules you should respect throughout your visit.

Monte da Penha has belonged to Francisco Fino’s family since 1984, but the wine tradition of this Portalegre family dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century, with the mythical “Tapada de Chaves”, one of the great names in the history of Alentejo wines. Monte da Penha is a property located on the slopes of the Penha mountains, in Portalegre. It is a unique and genuine family project. The manor house dates back to the end of the eighteenth century, and is an example of the Nazóni style. The estate has a total of 22 hectares of vineyards.
Despite all the tradition implied in four generations linked to wine, Monte da Penha has strived to bring past and future together. The winery is equipped with the most modern technology, and the aging cellar, where hundreds of French oak barrels rest, is the place where the bottles improve with age, until they are ready to be sold.
We have two parking spaces next ot the cellar with a panoramic view over the vineyards.
Currently, open from Monday to Friday, from 9a.m. to 5.30p.m. Reservations must be made no later than 24 hours in advance.
