Quinta Prados de Melgaço has the pleasure of inviting you to visit their property and stay overnight in your motorhome at their facilities. After purchasing your product pack, you are welcome at the farm store to check-in, and be filled in on the rules you should respect throughout your stay.
Prados de Melgaço is inspired by the heritage of the Portuguese cheese tradition, creating an authentic, original and unique goat’s cheese, enriching the variety of products of the region.
In the green PRADOS DE MELGAÇO where they live, our goats give us their best milk. Quality milk comes from happy animals. It is with this precious milk, and based on the best Portuguese cheese tradition, that we make our best cheese.
We have 2 parking spaces next to the goat caprile building, so they can follow the daily activities and enjoy the relaxing music of our animals.
Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00. Closed on public holidays. Bookings for the same day should be made no later than 2 p.m.

Not to be missed in Melgaço: memory and border museum, cinema museum and keep. Visit to Solar do Alvarinho, with exhibition and tasting of Alvarinhos wines produced in the municipality. Stroll through our mountains with the possibility of visiting Branda da Aveleira and the bees that do not sting (buckfast), Castro laboreiro and Lamas de Mouro, where it is possible to do several nature tourism activities, such as horseback riding with the Melgaço Riding Centre or nature sports in the bed of the Minho River… among many other activities to discover during your stay. Not forgetting the delicious local gastronomy and the various restaurants.
