Quinta do Monte Travesso is a property situated in the heart of the Oporto Wine Region, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Near the Douro River, 5 Kms from the village of Tabuaço and the wine village of Barcos. It is a typical Douro farm, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in schist lands.
It is a family farm dedicated to the production and bottling of wines and olive oil, under its own brand, and also tourism.
We produce wines and olive oil using traditional production techniques. We are dedicated to tourism with guided tours and wine and olive oil tastings, making it possible to visit the vineyard, the winery and the family house, thus giving a unique and genuine opportunity to visit a traditional Douro farm, a living museum full of stories to tell, since 1896.
We have five parking spaces overlooking the vineyards and the Távora Valley.
