Quinta dos Castelares has the pleasure of inviting you to visit their property and stay overnight in your motorhome at their facilities. After purchasing your product pack, you are welcome at the farm store to check-in, and be filled in on the rules you should respect throughout your stay.
Quinta dos Castelares is the result of the childhood dream of Manuel Caldeira, son of farmers dedicated to land and cultivation, and one of the greatest ambassadors of Freixo de Espada à Cinta.
Quinta dos Castelares is located in the Upper Douro, framed by the Natural Park. In the production methods of the wines we try to preserve the ancestral cultivation techniques combined with the most recent developments in viticulture, which lead to greater environmental sustainability and respect for the environment.
We have 2 parking spaces overlooking the vineyards.

With the title d” A Vila Manuelina de Portugal”, Freixo de Espada à Cinta is located near the border with Spain, overlooking the River Douro. Land of myths and legends, the landscape is dominated by vineyards and olive groves, and every year nature gives us the unique spectacle of Almond trees in Flower.
Framed by the Douro River, it is inserted in the Natural Park of Douro International, where protected species such as the Bonnelli Eagle or the Egyptian Vulture find their refuge in this warm and dry continental Mediterranean climate.
