Useful information to make your visit easier.
Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal was founded more than 90 years ago by Abel Pereira da Fonseca, in order to manage the three estates he owned in the Lisbon wine region: Quinta do Sanguinhal, Quinta das Cerejeiras and Quinta de S. Francisco. Currently, the company is still managed by the family’s 3rd and 4th generation.
We are the leaders in DOC Óbidos wine production and the oldest family in the Lisbon region producing quality bottled wine. Quinta do Sanguinhal and Quinta das Cerejeiras date back to the 19th century and receive more than 10,000 wine tourists annually. We have 100 hectares of vineyards where we grow the best grapes for our best wines!
We have six parking spaces overlooking the vineyards.
Open from Monday to Saturday, from 11a.m. to 6p.m. Closed on Sundays. Bookings for the same day should be made no later than 2 p.m.
The growing interest in wine tourism has led us to create a tourist program that allows us to share a little about how our company has been producing wine since the beginning of the 20th century, while simultaneously offering a pleasant visit in a unique surrounding. All visits are made by appointment (prices and conditions on request): email@example.com
